Digital Assessments

Providing prompt construction advice

Overstone’s Digital Assessments solution leverages cutting-edge technology to facilitate prompt and, in some cases, immediate assessment of construction matters.

This innovative approach includes hosting virtual meetings between stakeholders, where discussions are recorded, automatically transcribed, and summarised. The outcome is a concise summary report that highlights key discussion points, conclusions, and any advice rendered during the meeting.

There isn't always a need for boots to hit the ground onsite, when the existing imagery and detail is sufficient and accurate enough to permit professional opinions to be rendered.

What is a Digital Assessment?

The Digital Assessments initiative at Overstone Pty Ltd leverages advanced technology to facilitate prompt and, in some instances, immediate evaluations of construction matters. This approach allows thorough assessments to be conducted efficiently, with stakeholders able to participate remotely. By integrating technologies such as virtual meetings, automatic transcription, and summary generation tools, assessments are comprehensive, recorded, and summarised in real-time, enhancing the accuracy and transparency of the evaluation process.

This initiative is particularly beneficial for scenarios requiring immediate attention or complex assessments that involve multiple stakeholders for early foundational discussions. It enables remote evaluations, ensuring that geographical distances do not hinder effective decision-making. Digital Assessments facilitate initial discussions with clients, provide detailed analyses of construction issues, and involve greater technical input through the engagement of consultants and contractors. These parties can contribute effectively from their locations, optimising time and resources by focusing on critical details during the assessment process.

Advanced Technology Integration: Utilises state-of-the-art technologies for virtual meetings, automatic transcription, and summary generation, making the assessments thorough and transparent.

Versatility in Application: Useful across various stages of a project, from initial client discussions to detailed technical evaluations, facilitating comprehensive assessments throughout the project lifecycle.

Efficiency and Safety: Minimises travel and on-site time, reducing costs and safety risks associated with physical site visits.
